Wade Antonio Colwell, Co-Founder of ChezSpirit, has been blessed to sustain a professional path of a “lifelong learner” as an author, SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR, circle keeper, cultural advocate, education consultant, facilitator, MC/lyricist, media creator, DJ/music curator, performer, restorative practitioner, soccer player & coach, singer, speaker and classroom teacher.
Since graduating from Stanford University in Health & Developmental Psychology, Wade has stayed rooted in working for community well-being. Some of his social impact includes co-founding the ground-breaking academic hip hop program Funkamentals, co-creating the intergenerational arts-centered experience of Youth Equity Stewardship (YES), co-leading the Restorative Practices PD training for Counseling in Schools / New York City, serving as Education Director for the mentorship-based Community for Youth / Seattle, WA, and co-designing K-12 curriculum for the Mexican-American/Raza Studies Department in Tucson Unified School District.
